About the Author
Andy Pressman (Albuquerque, NM) is a tenured professor of architecture at the University of New Mexico and the principal of Andy Pressman, AIA Architect. His work has been featured in more than 20 publications, including Architectural Record, Architecture, and the Washington Post. He holds B.A. degrees in architecture and building science from Rensselaer Polytechnic and a M.A. in design studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is board-certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and licensed in Maine, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, and Illinois. He is a member of the AIA.

Great book - very handy to have it around

This book is full of great tips and articles that you won't find anywhere else. It feels like most of the authors in the book are divulging the hints and secrets that they've learned along the way. As for architecture books, this one is by far the least dry and boring. Keep it on your desk and use it as a reference, or read it cover to cover. Either way, it's worth it.
